We are resuming construction on October 14th! The minor items left should not affect guest stays during that time. However, the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room will also be closed so we can re-tile, paint and take care of some minor repairs. We are hoping to resume use by November 30, 2024. Enjoy this beautiful 1bedroom, 1bathroom with waterfront views, and a sofa bed for additional guests. Our bedroom features a king bed and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower with an updated vanity.

The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop with 2 burners. The living room has seating for up to 6 guests next to a cozy fireplace, with additional seating in the dining nook. And don't forget to enjoy the walkout patio as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.

The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.

Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 47 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Outstanding view

This is one of my favorite condos in this building and have stayed here about a dozen times.Our favorite spot is the green chairs near the window. This unit needs to be cleaned.Hardwood floors are dirty. Rugs in entry and kitchen need to be replaced. The carpet in the bedroom is needing to be replaced.Update the kitchen coffee cups and drink ware.The building should upgrade the paper products.

A wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It’s the second time we rented it. Only minor suggestion is to put more hangers in the closet. Beautiful place with nice decor.

Perfect getaway!

Beautiful!! This was a much needed weekend away! The condo was large and spacious and perfect for all of us girls! Walking in and getting the view of the lake is stunning, we were all blown away with the sunsets each night! Having a clean well equipped kitchen to cut costs on eating out is phenomenal, but we still enjoyed the short walk just over the bridge to town and the beach to eat, shop, rock hunt etc! Housekeeping will come and take care of your trash and give you clean towels if you put a sign on your door and the pool even has a sauna. After this experience it’s going to be hard for me to stay at a normal hotel again!

I rented this unit for my sister and her husband for after their wedding. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very very charming. They had a magical couple of days and we couldn’t be more grateful for their wonderful Edgewater Inn experience!!! We highly recommend this property!!!

Great room!

We always love spending our holiday weekend in Charlevoix! Our room on the water is great for our family! We love to sit outside and the view is great! The property no longer offers cots which would be nice to have for an extra person. There were four of us so I thought it was strange when I went to the front Desk and asked for two extra towels, since the room only came with two towels. The person at the front desk said that I would have to bring him two towels to replace with two new ones which I have never heard of before in any hotel. When I told him there were four of us, him and another front desk person brought two towels to our room which I thought was strange. When I asked for an extra blanket he questioned me again, telling me I should have one. I don’t ask for much when I go to hotels, but asking for two extra towels since I didn’t have enough and one blanket I felt like I was asking a favor especially since I didn’t ask for anything the rest of the trip. We always love staying at the Edgewater.I guess that was just a fluke thing because the lady at the front desk the next day was very friendly and welcoming .

Unfortunately the cots that were there were old, beat up, and literally falling apart and we decided to not replace them as each untit has a queen size pull out couch. Edgewater Inn

We have been staying at the Edgewater Inn for 35 years and look forward to it each year. The rates have gotten pretty pricey and due to this we are going to begin looking around the area for alternative lodging. You used to offer a 10% discount when staying 7 nights which you no longer offer. You should offer this as it also saves you money in turning over the condo cleaning wise less often. The majority of people we talk to only stay a night or two due to the cost. The manager and front staff were very kind and responsive to the concerns we had during our stay such as lack of hot water for showers. Think you should be able to opt out of housekeeping services at a slight discount. We prefer to clean up after ourselves and not have people coming into our rental each day. You also need to provide parking passes for renters cars when they check in. When we came back late at night, we were unable to find a parking space due to others not lodging at the Edgewater. Had to park on the grass on a slight hill.

Starting in 2024 we are offering a 15% discount on 7 night stays during May-October, call the front desk to book. We did get the hot water heaters repaired, so there is sufficient hot water for every unit on that floor! As housekeeping is not an additional charge, we are unable to give discounts. But there is a Maid Service and a Do Not Disturb door hanger in each unit so you do have the option to opt out of housekeeping. Please give the front desk a call to book your next stay so we can ensure you have the 5 star service we strive for. Rose

We love the Edgewater! The new management company seems to be an improvement. Very attentive to our needs. We would recommend power washing the outside of each unit in the Spring.

Great condo!

Fantastic location, walking distance to town and the beach! Beautiful view! Our first rental reserved became unavailable. Ronica was fantastic to suggest this property instead and it worked out perfectly! We were in town for our daughter’s wedding at castle farms and this condo aloud us to have space to entertain family and friends �� The 1st floor was perfect, they could walk right up to our patio!

Very pleasant time at this unit. Very much appreciate the gas log fireplace as the temperature was in the teens! Great view down Round lake with a stellar sunrise Saturday morning. So nice to walk downtown, get takeout and have a nice dining area to enjoy it. Thank for sharing! Wish we could book July 10-13!!
