Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality. This gorgeous dog-friendly condo has a king-size bed with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the hardwood floored living room. There is an island that houses the glass cooktop with seating for two. There is a dishwasher, microwave oven, and a smaller sized refrigerator. A two-person jetted tub is located in the bathroom along with the separate walk-in shower and the granite countered vanity. Cable television is in the living room and bedroom. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is in the living room along with a separate chair. Off the living room is the walk-out open patio with seating for two.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. A fitness room is located on the lowest level of the building complete with a weight machine, elliptical, treadmill, and stationary bike. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

All of the staff at the rental property were fantastic to deal with and tried their very best to address all of our needs. We had to move rooms as the air conditioner wasn’t operating and we were upgraded to a lovely 2 bedroom suite. The cleaning staff could not have been kinder.

Really enjoyed our stay at Pointes North. Very accommodating and easy to get in to. Had a nice little set-up for our dog as well. Can't beat the location as it is close to the water and all the amenities downtown has to offer. 100% will go back.

Up North Getaway

This is our 3rd stay in this building (Winter and Summer). Beautiful units that allow dogs!! Great location, walking distance to shopping, great views of Round Lake, Lake Michigan and Pine River. The only negative is the main hallway is noisy. We always have a great vacation!!

Great Dog-Friendly Condo!

The receptionist was very friendly, check-in was a breeze. Pointes North Inn is in a great location, walking distance from the shopping area and to the water. The condo was spacious and clean and they even provided doggie bowls, treats, and poo bags!

Nice condo

The bathtub was awesome. Huge and clean. The bed was very comfortable, but I would not recommend trying to sleep on the pullout couch. I was surprised to find that the fireplace was gas, but I suppose gas is easier. The location was great; walking distance to many wonderful restaurants.

Perfect weekend

Our stay was perfect. The place was immaculate and everything worked. Close enough to downtown Charlevoix to walk to cafes, shops, and brew pub. The fireplace was a romantic touch, and the jacuzzi tub was wonderful after hiking along the lakeshore all day. Cute little patio, too. There is also an indoor pool that looked nice, but we didn’t use it.

Short stay

We’ve stayed at Pointes North many times, this was just an overnight. This is a nice condo hotel with both one and two bedroom units. The location couldn’t be better as you can see the lake from almost every screened-in porch and you are right downtown. As a bonus, you can stay with your dog.

So wonderful we stayed twice!

We booked at the last minute after deciding to extend our vacation in Munising, and we were recommended by a friend to stay here on the way to the UP AND on the way back because we loved it so much! They had dog friendly rooms and they were BEAUTIUFL rooms! Our AC didn't work but the guy at the front desk, Matt I think his name was, was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Offered to switch rooms more than once for us, to which we declined because everything else was so wonderful. Great people, great place!

Charlevoix Condo

Very clean and comfortable condo. Next to the Weathervane Restaurant. Walking distance to downtown shops and Lake Michigan waterfront and beach area. Screened-in porch nice to relax, it faces the main street so there is a lot of car traffic in front of porch. Pool was closed while we were there due to maintenance. We loved the Gem Car Mushroom House Tour and also the Fisherman's State Park in the area. We would stay here again.

enjoyable experience mostly

what a nice location and beautiful accommodations. we had intended to stay 3 nights but left early because starting at 10 am on the last day, heavy construction was being done in the room directly above us. It was a rainy day and we were going to stay in the condo and read. But the construction noise was very disruptive. Matthew offered to change our room but the one offered was a downgrade so we headed home. Matthew graciously did NOT charge us for the 3rd night so we were very pleased by this. we would return to this suite in the future

Awesome Rental and Location!

We love staying at Pointes North Inn. Charlevoix and Pointes North make for a great vacation experience. Close to shopping and bars! Nice walks to the pier and beach. Our rental felt like home and we enjoyed relaxing after long days of vacation. Just wish the pool was open a little later. Would have loved a nice swim at the end of the evening.
