Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality. This gorgeous condo has a king-size bed with a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. There are granite countertops in the kitchen, one housing the stainless steel sink and the table with seating for three. There is a full stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and an average-sized refrigerator which makes it more unique from our other one-bedroom units. A two-person jetted tub is located in the bathroom along with the separate walk-in shower and the granite countered vanity. Cable television is in the living room and bedroom. The queen-sized sleeper sofa is in the living room along with a separate chair. Off the living room is the walk-out screened in patio with seating for two.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May. All this, just a stone's throw from downtown Charlevoix the beautiful.

Perfect location

Stayed here for 4 nights for a wedding. Workers were friendly and helpful. The unit felt very homie! Would definitely stay again.

Walking distance to shops/restaurants

Unit was very bright and clean, but the property in general needed a bit of love. The bedroom has a window that looks out into the hall, like a hotel, so you get the hall light all night (blackout curtains would be better than blinds) as well as noise/foot traffic. Rental is run by management company so you get the curt front desk person and several liablitiy forms to sign when you arrive. I liked the convenience to shops and mushroom houses.

Great place to stay!

We needed a place for one night for a wedding and this fit our needs to a T!They were able to let us get in a few hours early to dress for the wedding and that was very nice of them. Staff was very friendly and egg be every thing was very clean. Definitely a great deal for the money and would stay there again! Loved the area, wish we had more time to see more.

If you're looking for the perfect location for the Venetian Festival, Pointe's North Inn in downtown Charlevoix is the place to be! Walking distance to everything in Charlevoix. Suites have everything you need, and the pool and walk to the beach are an added bonus! Can't wait to stay again!

Nicely Updated rooms

We stayed in #104 but the pictures don't match the room we actually stayed in. We actually liked the it better than the decor in the pictures for #104. We were told NO earlly check ins, but then they called us before 4:00pm to see if we were coming by and we were wondering town because the details say no check in before 4. The location is conviently located in the downtown area. We only stayed 2 nights, but house keeping never came by our room, even though they told us they would be cominn by, with a fall stay and very few other people staying there, they should have been by ...luckily we had enough towels and things we needed. The enterance from the parking lot had garbage on the ground next to the door that didn't get cleaned up, so they cleaning staff didn't seem to be on top of things. Despite the lack of effort on the part of staff we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and you get a lot for the cost, kitcken, living/dining room, master bedroom, full bathroom with seperate tub and shower.

We had a great weekend, can’t beat the location within walking distance to shops restaurants marina. Unit 104 has had some updates, flooring, furniture. Bath was functional but very dated, massive jetted tub and tiny shower.

Great dog-friendly spot in downtown Charlevoix!

Perfect location on the channel within walking distance to downtown Charlevoix. Clean and pet-friendly with a “welcome package” for our dog. Easy check-in and check-out process. Up-to-date condo with fireplace, screened-in porch and soaker tub. Loved our stay and will be back!

Clean and Great Location

Great location for visiting the shops and restaurants of downtown Charlevoix. A little quirky but the place was clean and had typical condo amenities. The location is hard to beat - you are right in the heart of all the activity.There were a couple of mechanical things that were mildly annoying - there is a buzzing sound by the electrical panel next to the door, and there is frequently the sound of running water through the pipes in the wall. Not a big deal and most people probably wouldn't notice but would be great if those could be addressed.NOTE: There is no shuttle to/from the Charlevoix airport, you'll need to find a cab or rent a car.

Charlevoix Escape

Our experience was absolutely wonderful! The location in Charlevoix was right in the heart of downtown. It was close to anything you would want to do in this gorgeous city. This suite is on the 1st floor so you don’t have a view of the drawbridge or waterway but you have a covered screened in patio to sit & relax. If you want to see the drawbridge, all you have to do is open the door to the patio & walk outside...you are that close. We were looking for a suite with a refrigerator larger than a mini refrigerator & that is what we had. It wasn’t a full size refrigerator but an average size that fit all of our needs. The suite was very nicely decorated & felt like a home away from home.

Nice place to stay

The accommodations were nice for a weekend away and staying in. We arrived after hours and check in was easy. Checking out was more difficult because no one was in the lobby when it was time to check out. I wanted to make sure that we had done everything we needed but there was no one to talk to. I ended up having to leave a voicemail. Overall it met our needs.

Nice property and great hospitality from the front office

Spectacular location steps from the drawbridge and Weathervane restaurant. Parking was spacious and near my suite. Place is fully furnished like a home. Jacuzzi style tub. Super comfortable. Front office management is top tier. I was made welcome and not just sold a place to sleep.

Weekend get-a-way

The property was perfect for our stay and convenient to downtown Charlevoix. Due to COVID, not all property amenities were available (such as the pool) but this did not prevent us from having a good time. The full kitchen allowed us to prepare most of our meals. The space only had 2 dining chairs so we had to improvise when we had a couple over for dinner one of the nights. A full set of silverware would have been appreciated, but we made do. We would stay here again.

Great location

We were pleased with the location, easy to walk into town or out to Lake Michigan. The unit was clean and in very good condition. Things that could be improved: the bedroom doesn’t have space or furnishing to open a few suitcases or put much away, and the kitchen has no pantry items (not even salt on our visit) and haphazard cooking gear (the only frying pan, for example, had a destroyed nonstick surface we wouldn’t cook on). We are used to condo kitchens having a small collection of accumulated spices, etc. Maybe these were being pitched due to COVID. If we knew, it would have been easy to bring a kitchen box with us.

Lake Trip- three lakes in one!

Found Pointes North Inn on line. Room was just as pictured and described, nicely laid out. The location in downtown Charlevoix was so nice. We could walk downtown to shopping and restaurants and we were able to see the drawbridge operate which was a bonus for us. Staff was very helpful. Enjoyed Charlevoix with its many attractions especially the lakes and the “Mushroom houses”. We will come back to this beautiful city.

Overnight Stay

Stayed overnight for a Girlfriends shopping mini vaca. Had a great time and our suite we stayed in for the night was Amazing and could have accommodated more friends as well. The front desk clerk I made the reservation with the week before our stay was the same one who checked us in. She was able to get us into our room 2 hours ahead of the normal check in time which worked out great for the time we had to spend there. The room was immaculate and well appointed. It had a kitchenette with a full size stove, fridge, dishwasher and all the ammenities, dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee maker. Perfect for those who would come for a longer stay! I will be coming back again!

Spring break fun

The building was under maintenance when were there in April but they only worked during business hours and cleaned up after. The room itself was great and the location can’t be beat!! Easy walk to shops, restaurants, beaches, everything. Manager of our room was very friendly and helpful.

It's right off the road, across from the water. Just down the street are plenty of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. They do have a pool but I really wish they had a hot tub because we did stay when it was colder and that would have been nice. It was quiet and clean. Our room was very nice. I would probably stay here again but probably only in the summer.

Beautiful place to stay!

The room was very clean and beautiful. Loved the location to downtown.

Great location

Location to shops, restaurants and attractions were all in walking distance which was convenient. The noise from the street was pretty loud when patio doors were open; too loud to enjoy a cup of coffee out there in the morning which was disappointing.

The Perfect Setup!

We stayed recently for a wedding and the room was amazing! It was so nice having a home away from home and the screened porch was a nice touch. The room was as-is from what you see online. I honestly wish we could've stayed longer. It was a short walk across the bridge to downtown and a quick walk to Lake Michigan. It was in the perfect location!
