Suite 209 is a second-floor suite with a breathtaking view of Lake Charlevoix. An elevator is on site for easy access to all units. This unit offers one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bathroom with a new large walk-in shower. Small soaps are provided. Suite 209 has a kitchenette equipped with dishes and utensils ready for in-suite meals, a dining table, and a living room featuring a queen size sofa sleeper, gas-log fireplace, and flat-screen TV. The sliding glass door opens to a private balcony that overlooks our private beach.



Water Street Inn is located on stunning Lake Charlevoix in downtown Boyne City. The Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay. Right next door to a public beach that has a splash pad, play ground, and volleyball nets; perfect for all ages. Walkable to restaurants, ice cream and all downtown shops. Boat rentals are available next door at Boyne Water Sports. Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. Outdoor lockers are available for skis or other outdoor gear.

A special place became even better!

We have stayed at Water Street Inn for over 25 years. Due to life events, we had not visited for three years. We recently returned and found the new staff VERY professional and caring! The room was immaculate and we could not say a single word of negativity! Country was especially kind as our TV was not working - she was diligent to repair the connection for us! First visit to Michigan

Our accommodations were good. Located conveniently close to entertainment, views of the beach and eateries. The condo was well appointed for a rental property. We understand that the comfort of the furnishings is not the top priority for the owners, longevity & durability ranks higher. The one area that comfort in our humble opinion should be paramount is the mattress because after all most people go on vacation to sight see. Very little time is spent in a rental during the day. Having a good bed to rest one’s tired body is important. The mattress in condo #209 was worn out, with very little support. Disappointing The staff - Kris at the front desk was professional, kind and very helpful.

Great location

We had a beautiful view on the waterfront. Our place was very clean and comfortable. Would have enjoyed more than one night there. The town was in an easy walking distance. We at our supper at Lake Street pub (great smash burgers), and breakfast at Sunnyside (good. The activity we enjoyed while here was the Boyne Mt SkyBridge. I would stay here again if I was in this area.

Boyne City magic

My husband and I enjoyed a most enjoyable, if too short, stay at Condo 209 on Lake Charlevoix. The view of the lake was unobstructed and magical. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable, and the amenities perfect. The staff was friendly and engaging. We walked to dinner and shopping, to Avalanche Hill, and enjoyed it all. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and relatives.

In our second stay at these Water Street condos, it is a perfect central location to enjoy all five of the recommended Petoskey fall color tours. And with great dining offers in Boyne City, and a balcony view right on Lake Charlevoix means we’ll be back again. Immaculate inside the condo, it has been freshly decorated with all the kitchen tools for making breakfast in the room before journeying out for daily color tours. No matter the season, a great place to stay.

Million Dollar View

My husband and I love staying at Water Street Inn, as the accommodations are always clean and comfortable and every unit has a million dollar view of beautiful Lake Charlevoix. Beyond that, being right in the heart of Boyne City, the location can't be 's an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurant and an easy drive to Charlevoix, Walloon Village, or Petoskey when you want to get out and about.

Great place fantastic location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been visiting the area for years while staying with friends at their Boyne Mountain condo. Seems we may be hooked now with the “Lake vibe”!! It was incredibly relaxing, and the view... well it doesn’t get any better!!! Great walking to dinner and the bakery for espresso in the morning. Pleasantly surprised at how quiet the condo was. Our unit 209 was well appointed, and updated. The AC struggled a bit to cool the bedroom but to be fair it was incredibly hot this weekend. Staff very nice as well. We will definitely return!!

We love the updated vacation condos at One Water Street Inn. Right on the water and a beautiful view. Convenient to shopping and Boyne Mountain skiing. We had a truly wonderful experience from the booking to the arrival. I liked the emails as well as the App to keep us informed. Our unit was updated and perfect for our family of three. The only issue we had was that the bedroom was very hot even thought the AC unit was working overtime. Besides that, we look forward to renting this property again.

Excellent accommodations, we had a great time relaxing and watching the rise and set on the lake. The kids loved playing on the beach, swimming and fishing in the lake. The Pirate festival and farmers market were also highlights of our stay.

Boyne Ski Weekend

Fabulous suite!!!

We have stayed at the Water Street Inn for over 20 years. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. The rooms are each unique and provide for comfort and a sense of “home”. We love staying at Water Street Inn and will be back!

Color Tour

Beautiful Location, Well Kept Property

Beautiful 3 days up North. Rental unit had a lot of little extras to make the stay more enjoyable. Surprised to find the pullout had a thick comfortable mattress. Would definitely recommend this unit and would love to come stay again!

Wonderful Room for a FAMILY!

I loved everything about this room! I have 2 children (2 and 6 years old) and they absolutely loved the room as well! I was "iffy" about there only being a shower... But after long days at the beach with the kids... Having JUST a shower with a detachable shower head was AMAZING! I loved the décor and how fresh and airy the room was. I also loved that there wasn't carpet by the front door (again with the sand and kids)! There were even kids sets of plates, forks and knifes... I loved all of the updated appliances as well!! I loved that there was an OVEN! I will definitely be asking for this room again. THANK YOU for making my stay here so wonderful.

peaceful lakeside retreat

We really loved staying here. The beautiful view from the condo. Everything very well kept up and clean. Especially loved that you were able to walk to the shops and such. Have an ice cream after dinner and go for a walk. A ten all the way! Would definitely stay here again.

Up North Retreat

Beautifully appointed and fit our needs perfectly. Due to medical dietary restrictions we needed to prepare our meals rather than eat in restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped and served us well. The location was great and within easy walking distance of stores and shops, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Smooth as silk

The reservation process, email confirmation and rental information was very helpful. Check-in was seamless and the accommodations were immaculate. The Boyne City venue is picturesque, overlooking Lake Charlevoix. All within a stones throw are Boyne City park on the shore of Lake Charlevoix with a sandy public swimming beach and grassy areas. Shops, dining and libations are all within a short leisurely stroll. A very nicely stocked grocery, Family Fare is within easy walking distance. The Red Mesa grill on Water St. serves exceptional food and specializes in Margaritas.

Weekend Getaway

Decided on Boyne City because rates for condo were better than a hotel in Traverse City. Made our trip "up the coast" between TC and BC. Townline Cider Mill was amazing. 7 Monks Tap Room was a pleasant surprise. Hit the casino on our way up to Cafe Santa was amazing. Just a nice, relaxing visit to the area.

Wonderful time in 209!

My wife and I have been retired for a short time and we have been looking around Michigan for a location that we would like to spend the summer months. Upon arrival at the Water Street Inn we liked the location, on the water and the town walking minutes away! The weather was not what we were expecting, cool, windy and mid 60's, believe it or not, it was a blessing! Had it been in the 80's we would not have just stayed in the unit and enjoyed the view, looked at the information that was provided for us in the unit about the location and activities, read the remarks from past renters, and just sat and enjoyed each others company and talk about what this area has to offer, we would not have enjoyed what the Water Street Inn has to offer in a comfortable and well equipped unit.

Summertime vacation start

We had a great time in Boyne City. The room was very clean and inviting. The views of Lake Charlevoix were awesome. It was great to sit on the porch at sunset. We especially liked that we could walk to so many restaurants and shops (being central to downtown), and enjoy the waterfront. We were central to alot of other cities and areas to visit. The staff at the Water Street Inn were very nice and helpful.It would be a place we would stay again.

Private, comfortable and like home. This truly was a great choice for us. We live on the water (Lake Huron) and so like to stay as close to the water when we travel.
