Suite 215 is a second-floor suite with breathtaking views of Lake Charlevoix. This unit offers one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bathroom with a bathtub. Suite 215 has a kitchenette equipped with dishes and utensils ready for in-suite meals. This unit has a full-size dining table and a spectacular view of the city with it being an end unit. The living room features a queen-size sofa sleeper, gas-log fireplace, and flat-screen TV. The sliding glass door opens to a private balcony that overlooks our private beach.

Great Location!

We had our family pre-Christmas party in Boyne City and chose an end unit condo in the Water Street Inn. Great spot! I'm ready to come back already. Apart from the bedroom TV being too big, I can't think of any complaint! Great location, super clean, great views, and super polite staff. It snowed the day we arrived, but the property management did a great job of clearing snow and the heat and fireplace were great.

Boyne City Long Weekend Fabulous!

Rented condo #215, recently remodeled. Stayed 3 nights had a wonderful stay. Check-in very east, condo was clean, grounds were upkept very neatly, and view from 2nd floor incredible. Easy walking distance to all of the shops & dining Boyne City has to offer. On a personal level, would prefer K-cup machine instead of coffee pot, (1st world problem!). Will try to stay there again this fall if available.

Lovely cozy condo

My husband and I needed just a little getaway and this place was perfect for a mid winter break. The condo was warm and cozy .. more than enough for a very comfortable stay for two people.. it was clean and the view was absolutely beautiful!! We’re going to come back in summer for sure! Skiing weekend at Nubs Nob. Have stayed here on and off during past 30 years. Always super clean and inviting, however showing its age. Units need refresh; new higher vanities, toilets, carpets, paint, etc. Also, please use unscented laundry soap; while not unpleasant, don’t want to smell it on bedding while sleeping.

Great experience

We love Boyne city and the water street inn. The city of Boyne with its location on lake Charleroix many things to do within the city and it’s central location to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, M-22, and the city of Charlevoix all provide great day trips. Our preferred location at the water street inn is condo 215 providing great water views also a clean, upscale, and relaxing experience.

Perfect Location

We love staying at Water Street Inn. The location is perfect for walking and enjoying all that Boyne has to offer. The unit we stayed in was historic. I don't believe anything has been updated since the 90's. The unit was clean but wear and tear were evident in the carpet, furniture and wallpaper. The front office staff were very helpful and friendly.

Amazing place

The place was spotless. Had everything we needed to cook our own meals including silverware to eat with. Check-in and check out was super easy. I am planning to go back during the summer.

Panaramic View

This unit must be the best because it provides a nearly panaramic view of the Lake and is quiet, with no one above it. The rooms were very clean and bright, well decorated and furnished to make you feel at home. It was wonderful to be able to walk to everything you'd need including a salon and market. The beach was clean andcouldn't be more accesible. Thank you for my restful retreat.

Best Location Possible

Located right on the lake with a beach to enjoy. This is within walking distance of all that downtown has to offer. We walked to dinner and all the shops. Will definitely stay here again and again.

Annual Up North visit

We liked our room - the side view adds so much to the beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix. One problem for us was the bathtub - when we wanted to shower. For over 65 year olds, the step in and out of the tub was difficult. We also could not find any dishware (plates and bowls) for our daily use. The four wheel luggage carts need to be replaced. The wheels are not strong enough to hold luggage. You need more than two carts for check in and check out, too.

315 great; 215 no good

215 has issues, 315 was fine for the most part. 215's internet connection failed more than once. There was also only one chair for comfort which took from the experience. The tv connection failed during the night and would not reconnect. The toilet handle was messed up. The fridge was ancient. 215 was substandard.

Our Favorite Vacation

The entire family loves staying at the Water Street Inn in Boyne City, Michigan. Unit 215 is especially nice since it is an end unit with extra space and extra windows. All units face Lake Charlevoix and have either patios or balconies. One of our favorite things to do is to watch the sunset each evening. Cafe Sante is just down the street, an atmospheric pub serving Belgian food and ales. Best of all there is an authentic French bakery (Boyne City Bakery) across the street, offering the best croissants this side of France. The property is well managed, well-maintained and very clean. Each unit has a distinctive decor, often “beachy” or nautical. Unit 215 is especially charming.

Beautiful!

This place was beautifully furnished and the view was astounding. It was far more spacious and conducive to relaxation than a typical hotel room. It was so helpful to have a full kitchen (stocked with plates, pans, and utensils) and a real dining table.

October Anniversary Annual Getaway

We LOVE staying at Water Street Inn!! We’ve been married for 18 years now, and at least 15 of those years have been to Boyne and Water Street Inn. This is the first time we stayed in 215, and overall, I loved the condo. However, there was only ONE barstool, and the bed was not the most comfortable. Would love to see a little more updating to that unit, and it would be perfect!!!! We plan to keep up our anniversary tradition as long as we can, because that trip to Boyne is definitely a favorite!!!!!

Condo in Boyne City

I love this condo and have stayed here in this particular condo a few times. Unfortunately this time was different. The mattress was so worn out that on one side you had to be careful not to slide off. The rest of the furniture is very comfortable but next time I make a reservation I’m going to ask if the mattress has been replaced.

Escape to Boyne City

Second visit/stay at this condo complex. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, as usual. Very clean and nicely decorated unit. Beautiful location and view of Lake Charlevoix and surrounding beaches and grounds. Excellent restaurants in town, i.e., Cafe Sante; and great dining at the Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club Restaurant, just outside of downtown on Marina Drive.

Corner room with many windows

The rental unit was great. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to the town and slopes. I never say anybody in the office. My only complaint is too much light shines into the bedroom at night from the lit outside hallway. The blinds didn't make it dark enough.

Warm and Restful with Benefits

Last minute decision to do a fall color tour for the weekend limited availability but we really lucked out with Water Street Inn. We were greeted with a warm welcome and smile by the receptionist. elevator to the second floor of the set of condos was nice. Our unit was on the end so we had an extra wall of windows through which to view beautiful Lake Charlevoix. We were pleasantly surprised at how warm and clean we felt despite the cold rainy weather. The place was really spotless, had a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed.

Needs an Update

The Water Street Inn is a quaint spot in beautiful Boyne City with fabulous views, walkable to town, shops and restaurants. This particular unit is spacious and nice but is in desperate need of an update. We stayed here over 15 years ago and it still looks the same.

Can't beat the location - when my husband had to spend several hours a day working inside, I was able to enjoy the beach right outside our door, which is just not possible at most places designed for 2 - 4 people. The unit was clean and the housekeeping staff emptied garbage, brought fresh towels when needed and made the beds daily. My only very minor complaint is that I wish there were ceiling fans, but truly, that's not a necessity. We love the town, especially since many of the restaurants serve dinner until 10 or 11, even during the week.

Unit with great views, lovely place to stay

We always enjoy coming to Water Street Inn. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and flexible. This unit is particularly special as it has vast views of Lake Charlevoix. We had wonderful weather and kept the windows open, allowing for breezes from all directions. Thanks for another nice stay.

Great stay for our ski weekend

We were thrilled to find this condo for our ski weekend at Boyne. Very nice, comfortable place to relax and get a good nights sleep. Price was good and a short drive to Boyne Mountain. Great location for restaurants and stores. Amazing view of the lake - even saw a bald eagle Sunday morning sitting on a piece of ice. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to the area and have already recommended to friends.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Water Street with one glaring exception, the carpeting. It was extremely dirty or worn out to the point that, in my opinion, it should have been cleaned or replaced. Frankly, we were very disappointed to find an Inn of this caliber to have carpeting in such terrible condition. I hope the owners will do something about this soon

Favorite Family Vacation Retreat

We have been coming to the Water Street Inn in Boyne City, Michigan for over 15 years. The individual units all have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and a balcony or patio overlooking a sandy beach on Lake Charlevoix. There is a sleeper sofa in each unit.Some of the units have been remodeled and look awesome. The entire building is extremely clean and well run; the front desk staff and the cleaning staff are friendly and competent. There are many area attractions like paddle boarding or zip-lining, but my favorite is watching the sunset every evening from the beach.

Wonderful Choice for Lodging

Condo 215 was a great choice for our 2017 Michigan vacation. Boyne City is a beautiful small town with great shops, great views, and not far away from Petoskey. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly & helpful. We were very impressed and enjoyed our week's stay. Only suggestion is the mattress needs to be replaced for better nights rest. Water Street Inn is an excellent choice!

Water Street Inn Management is the best!

This was my 3rd or 4th business trip to Boyne City, and glad I found the gem to stay at! A huge thanks to Water Street Management who bent over backwards to work with us during our stay. The only negative was the jacuzzi tub in the condo did not seem to work, and some aspects seemed to begin to look dated. A full-size ironing board would be nice, as the table-top thing was very frustrating to iron work clothes on! Otherwise, we will be back, soon I hope!
