The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop with 2 burners, dishwasher, a microwave, island seating, and a water view from the couch!



The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.

Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Experience was well worth the money

The condo was clean with a capital “C”. It was nicely appointed and comfortable. The view from the back doorwall was amazing. It was by the drawbridge and we could see all the different boats coming in and out. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice to have. However, the wasn’t any shade (no umbrellas) so I didn’t use the pool. The unit was a quick walk to downtown Charlevoix shopping.

Had a 3 day getaway with my husband. Great location -was a "basecamp" for everything we wanted to do. Very walkable to downtown and Lake Michigan. Nicely decorated. Towels were plush. Staff very friendly. Neighborhood felt safe. Would stay again.

It was easy to find the building and get our envelope with the keys and code for the building. Would have been nice to find out were about our condo was located to park close to the correct door, entrance. But we figured it out. The place was very comfortable and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and shower was great. They provided us with coffee packs and the next day the cleaning lady gave us another regular pack. It had a small two burner stove, but no oven. There was no Refrigerator but they did have two frig doors in the cabinets that was enough for our cold things for the two nights were there. We loved the two chairs by the window that faced the lake, the tile floor was very cold there, so we used a pillow under our feet. Maybe place some small round rugs there? We had a great time, and it was in the right location as we had did wine tasting in Traverse City and also in Petoskey, so we could have Charlevioux as our center point.

Charming town and a perfect location

Charlevoix at the Edgewater

We really enjoyed our stay in Charlevoix and the Edgewater is a perfect location for experiencing the city. We used the laundry facilities and enjoyed our view from the picture window! It was a bit of a drag that construction was still going on so we were unable to enjoy our patio. The space was nice after many nights in smaller hotel rooms.

A wonderful weekend away!

This is our second stay at this property, and it's now going to be our winter getaway. The perfect place to escape to when the winter blahs start to set in... we love the peacefulness of this property this time of year. It's very quiet, and Charlevoix is not overflowing with people, which makes for a relaxing and wonderful weekend. We love this place, and Rose at the front desk is very friendly and inviting. Excellent Choice for Charlevoix Stay!

We stayed at the Edgewater Inn for a weekend in February. We originally rented the property for just one night, but decided to extend our stay we liked it so much! The property is perfectly located downtown, right on the water. We were able to enjoy the view and relax in front of the fireplace for hours. The property was extremely clean and well appointed, we felt taken care of and everything we needed was available without issue. We will definitely be staying here again when a weekend getaway is needed!
