Suite 311 is a third floor suite, totally renovated and tastefully decorated, with breathtaking views of Lake Charlevoix. The kitchen boasts beautiful high-end counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a full size oven. You will find this kitchen fully equipped with utensils and dishes for preparing meals. The glass dining room table can accommodate up to four people. The living room features a queen size sofa sleeper, gas-log fireplace, and a 50'' flat screen TV. The sliding glass door opens to a private balcony that overlooks our private beach. Upstairs you will find a bathroom with a Euro shower enclosed with glass doors and two separate vanities. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, a 32'' flat screen TV, and yet another spectacular view of Lake Charlevoix.

Fall getaway

Great stay at the Water Street Inn unit 311. The unit was well appointed and provided everything needed to relax. The location is fantastic and in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed hiking the Avalanche Preserve nearby and visiting Boyne Mountain to experience the Skybridge.

Wonderful Stay

We've stayed at Water Street Inn many times over the past 15 years and it's always a wonderful visit. The units are spacious and provide incredible views of Lake Charlevoix. Some units have more updates than others, but all are clean and comfortable. The facility is well tended, the team is friendly, and it was delightful to enjoy the small beach this time. Highly recommended.

Northern Michigan at its finest

We recently stayed at the Water Street Inn and it was fabulous. The staff couldn’t have been nicer our condo 311 was immaculate and the bed super comfortable. Stunning views from the porch but really even sitting inside the views are stunning. Watch the stars from your king size bed at night. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. Walking distance to everything!! We highly recommend this property and while there go eat at Cafe Santé. Best food by far in all of Boyne City. Their quiche is better than the French bakery - fantastic food, great waitstaff.

Boyne City Getaway

Had a wonderful time in Boyne City. Very nice property and everything within walking distance. The condo was very nicely decorated and clean. The only thing was the ceiling fan in the bedroom was not working properly and the bedroom TV remotes would not work. Was able to turn TV on manually, but could not figure out how to manual change the channels due to no buttons on the TV for that. We did not complain for it was not a big deal. However, we did mention it upon checkout. We would definitely stay at this location and in this unit again. Highly recommend.

A cozy and relaxing retreat!

Excellent Stay

We loved this beautiful condo! The decor is modern and fresh. We would have loved to have stayed a few more days. Our favorite part of the stay was cocktails on the balcony at sunset. The sunsets are amazing. The location was excellent as you could walk both the town and along the shoreline.

Beautiful Views of the lake

Great location in Boyne City within walking distance to restaurants and stores. The condo was updated and very comfortable as was the king size bed. The view of the lake was spectacular even on rainy or cloudy days. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. And the staff was very accommodating and friendly. A wonderful return visit

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Water Street Inn. The unit was lovely, nicely renovated, & well appointed with everything for our one week visit. Lucky for us, the weather was sunny & warm all week so we were really able to enjoy the deck & beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix.This is our fourth stay at Water Street Inn, so, obviously, we love it. The whole property is well maintained & the common areas are all clean & very lovely looking with all the blooming flowers. And all the people working at the desk were very friendly & accommodating.We also really enjoy staying in Boyne City because it is quieter & less hectic than the other cities on the lake. At the same time, it is very convenient for excursions to Petoskey, Charlevoix, & Traverse City.

Boyne City on the Beach

Very nice stay in the updated unit. Great views from inside and outside of the lake. Bathroom and kitchen were very well appointed. Comfortable seating and dining area. Very convenient to walk into town. Just a small note: A/C is a wall unit near the bedroom, so + or - depending on point of view. Would definitely book this unit again.

Condo with a View

Boyne City is an area we have visited many times staying at Water Street Inn. This was our first time in this unit. It has many lovely updates the reason we chose to stay there. The information books needs updating, there was no area on the 2nd floor between 211 and 212 for trash. Also, we did not know there would not be housekeeping for fresh towels daily. The property itself could use some exterior updates and cleaning. The view, as always, beautiful Lake Charlevoix!

A+ Condo

This condo was beautiful, and had a very nice interior. The ability to walk downstairs and be on the beach, or walk a block or two to town was amazing. There were 2 adults, and 1 child- we only stayed two nights, and it would have been too small if we had stayed much longer, but if it's only two people, I would have had no issues staying a week or more! We were so impressed with the area and complex, we were going to stay an extra night, but the prices were a bit high in our opinion. The front desk staff were amazing as well!

We love this complex. We made our third visit and decided to go to the third floor. The unit is beautifully updated and we were quite pleased. The cleaning prior to our arrival was not the standard that Water street Inn has had before. I believe it was due to the same issue affecting so many business owners, lack of staff.

Perfect Getaway!

Super nice,clean condo right on the beach. Nicely updated unit. It was super quiet which we appreciate when traveling, seems well insulated or we had quiet neighbors. The only thing which is minor is there's no central air, just a window unit upstairs which made the upstairs bedroom cool but the downstairs slightly warmer. It was really hot and humid outside when we stayed so probably not usually a big deal! Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend! Walk to everywhere location.

Beautiful time up north!

This is the second year we have stayed in this lovely condo and we really enjoyed our recent stay. We loved being able to cook several meals and a lovely, well-equipped kitchen. The refrigerator is the perfect size. The condo is beautifully decorated and was immaculate! We love the large, stand-up shower and the fact that the bathroom has two separate sinks. We also enjoyed the addition of a pretty outdoor rug on the balcony. The views are spectacular! This year the beach was back and we really enjoyed sitting in the chairs outside on the sand. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We look forward to another stay next year and hope to bring family with us!

Annual Summer Retreat (August 2020)

We had a wonderful visit to beautiful Northern Michigan. We have been renting at Water Street Inn for years and have always enjoyed our time spent in the lovely condo provided. This being an unusual year (COVID-19) changed our stay slightly but still just as enjoyable. We took this opportunity to stay in the condo more and make meals as opposed to only restaurant eating. The amenities suited this new arrangement well. My only negative if you can even call it that was not having a beach towel, we visited mid-August and it took us three days to find a beach towel to purchase which meant we didn’t get to enjoy the beach activities we planned on. If I had known the towel was an issue, I would have brought one from home. I do believe it was mentioned in our pre check in package however I thought we would be provided at least one towel for this purpose. Otherwise it was a delightful stay. Always clean and respectful for all guests. We plan our next vacation as soon as possible to be sure we secure the same unit every year. We love the area so much including Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs but we feel Boyne City is the hidden gem. It is centrally located to all other areas we enjoy visiting. We also recommend Ye Nyne Olde Holles Golf Club in East Jordan just down the road from Boyne. It is a beautiful, scenic affordable golf experience. You cannot go wrong staying is this quaint, lovely property!Joanne & Gary

I have vacationed at water street inn the past 2 summers but this was my favorite because I stayed in 311... I would buy this condo right now if it was for sale. It’s beautifully decorated, clean, cozy, and the bed is super comfy. I love this placeAnd am already looking to book next summer for a month! The staff at water street go above and beyond - they are Amazing and so friendly

We had an enjoyable time at the lovely condo we stayed in. The very few problems that we encountered were quickly resolved, except for one. One of the chairs out on the balcony had a busted strap and wasn’t replaced during our 5 days there. We ended up using one of our camping chairs to sit on. This was most disappointing as we felt it dangerous to sit on that particular chair for fear of falling through. We also found a fingernail on the kitchen table. I was glad I brought cleaning supplies (Norwex enviro clothes) with me. I quickly wiped down the table as well as the placemats and the counter tops in the kitchen. We would have given a property a 5 would it not have been for the chair and the fingernail found on the kitchen table. We were thankful that the air conditioning smell got fixed.

An excellent room, top notch stay

I have stayed at the Inn a few times now, and this room as been by far the best. All of the appliances and furniture are new, very modern design. Miles better and cheaper than any hotel I've stayed at. The king bed in the master bedroom was amazing. The room was very well stocked coming with more than enough cookware and bedding. Take great care not to open the sliding door after dark, we made that mistake our first night and was met with a swarm of insects flying in. The one major downside of this stay was the extremely high water level, there was virtually no beach at all. This is by no fault of the Inn staff or management, but it was a disappointment nonetheless. Overall it was an excellent room in a great location in a perfect little beach community

Wonderful location and beautiful sunsets every night. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops. Clean unit with a great kitchen and comfortable bed. So happy I booked a 3rd floor unit with the marina/water view from the bed. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

The view from unit is stellar! We like the ease of walking to restaurants and shops, very close to everything. For winter time, very close to ski resort as well. Unit was very clean and well maintained. Faces West so the sunsets are great along with the sounds of the crashing waves onto the onsite beach area.

Spent three days and nights at this wonderful condo. What a great place to spend a long weekend. Great location.....everything is in walking distance. Bed might be the most comfortable bed I ever slept in! Can’t say enough about the place! Only negative was the code for the lock on door was cleared before we checked out. Made it a real pain to take things to car when checking out at 9:00....two hours before check out time.

Great Location and Super Place

We stayed for 3 nights and this place was perfect! The location was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We like taking morning walks and the neighborhood was safe and beautiful with great wide sidewalks. The deck view is gorgeous and was perfectly quiet and relaxing while we enjoyed our coffee. The condo was clean and well kept, and it had plenty of supplies. The bed is super comfy and the shower was amazing. Highly recommend this place!!

Romantic Getaway

Boyne City Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. The condo was exactly what I imagined. Clean and supplied with anything you would need for the week. The sunset view over the lake was beautiful. Great central location. We found out on Friday’s in downtown Boyne City they have bands spread out on different corners. It was great walking around and listening to the various music. Highly recommend it.

Boyne the Beautiful!

We loved our one bedroom rental on the shores of Lake Charlevoix! The deck was great and the kitchen was perfect with a great view! There is only one bathroom which is upstairs, but we were okay with that. The Master ceiling fan did not work, but we were cool enough. Overall, great place and location.

We have had the opportunity to stay in 311 for a one week summer get away. This was our 5th time stay in this condo and our 8th time staying at Water Street Inn and they never disappoint. Beautiful condos. Daily housekeeping. Friendly and accommodating staff. All on the beach of Lake Charlevoix with its knock out sunsets from our deck.

Beautiful condo!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights while enjoying winter fun at Boyne Mountain which is under 10 minutes away. Great location just steps away from several restaurants. The condo was extremely clean and looked newly renovated, it was picture perfect and has great views of the winter lake. This place was just the right size for 2 adults and 2 smaller kids. I highly recommend this condo and will certainly stay here again. The staff that greeted us at arrival and when we departed were super friendly and accommodating. All around A+ experience!!!

Ski Weekend

Early week getaway!

Very nice, comfortable Lake Charlevoix waterfront location with excellent lake views! Didn't utilize the beach at all, other than hearing the waves crash the beach during a snowstorm. I have always loved the sound of water hitting the shore!

Mid-week get-away!

This was our second time staying at the Water Street Inn, and they did not disappoint. Always cordial and friendly service. Property is well maintained and very clean. We stayed in a different unit this time and it was wonderfully appointed. We will be back again. While in town, we enjoyed wonderful experiences at Cafe Sante, Red Mesa, Water Street Cafe, Kilwin's and the Bakery.

Beautiful updated third follow condo on Lake Charlevoix. Bedroom window as well as the Balcony looks over the sandy beach below and has magnificent sunsets each night as it looks out to the west. Very Clean. Daily housekeeping provided. Staff is exceptional. The owners have definitily thought of everything to make their guests comfortable during their stay.

Family Reunion

We have stayed here on an annual basis throughout the years our children were growing up. It's been 6 years since we stayed here. They have definitely started cleaning it better, including the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and can't wait to return in the near future!
