Welcome to our Lake Escape!



From the moment you step inside, this Lake Charlevoix home feels like a place you’ll want to stay awhile. The spacious kitchen is built for gathering, with a large work island, double-door refrigerator with ice maker, two dishwashers, and high-end appliances throughout. Every detail has been thoughtfully added to make your stay comfortable. Cable and Wi-Fi are included.



The home offers five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The primary suite features a queen bed, while the additional bedrooms include a mix of queen and full beds. There’s also a kids’ room with two sets of bunk beds. Altogether, the home comfortably sleeps up to 10 adults plus 2 children.



The living spaces are just as inviting. A large-screen TV sits beside a natural wood-burning stone fireplace, creating a cozy spot to relax. A second sitting room also features a large TV and beautiful views of the narrows. The home includes a dining room, multiple gathering spaces, and a tiered deck with a seasonal hot tub overlooking a well-kept, landscaped yard.



Outside, you’ll have access to a dock and covered boathouse, making it easy to bring or rent a boat and enjoy the lake. With both air conditioning and heat, the home is comfortable in every season.



Located right on the narrows of Lake Charlevoix, you’re just a few miles from downtown Charlevoix and a short drive to Petoskey. You can also take an easy day trip to Traverse City or head north to Mackinaw for a ferry ride to the island.



Whether you’re planning a family getaway or a quiet retreat, this home offers the perfect setting to relax, explore, and enjoy the best of northern Michigan.



*This home is in a township with strict short term rental ordinance with occupancy and use restrictions.

Lake Escape Family Vacation

We all had a wonderful time in Charlevoix and staying at Lake Escape helped make our time there even more memorable. The home was terrific for our family - the kitchen is spacious and well stocked, the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and nice, the master suite was lovely. The patio served us well - especially the hot tub, fire pit and grill. The view is spectacular. We loved sitting in the dock, jumping in the lake, using the inner tubes, paddles boards and kayak! The location is perfect - only a short drive into town. And close to The Landing restaurant and Ironton Ferry. We highly recommend thisproperty!

Cozy, cottage style lake front home

Our family stayed here over Christmas Break 2019. We spent 5 peaceful evenings at this cozy, cottage style lake front home. We all slept until after 9am almost every morning which is rare for our family especially with young sons. The peacefulness of this place is unreal. The home was extremely clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The home was a cottage that has been renovated, and additions which provided that old cottage feel, smell and comfort but space for our family and modern conveniences. The master bedroom is simply perfection! Two family (with tvs) rooms to allow for space and continued enjoyment. Plenty of yard room for the kids to place and the hot tub was icing on the cake! The neighbors were extremely friendly as well. We can't say enough about our trip. We will return! I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer.

Exceeding expectations.

We rented this house for a family retreat based on what we saw on the website and the reviews of previous guests. The location is excellent, not far from Charlevoix and very private. There are neighbors on either side of the property, but we never felt that we were 'crowded.'The house has been recently remodeled/updated. Bathrooms are outstanding. The kitchen is spacious, and the center island provides enough space for all family members (we were six adults) to help prepare meals. The family room/s are outstanding. One was our favorite for watching late-night movies while the other was incredible to sit in the morning drinking coffee and chatting. The outside garden is incredible. The yard is professionally maintained. The deck provides a perfect place to relax, grill, and eat meals while enjoying the incredible views. The hot tub is a bonus we enjoyed every evening. The deck and boathouse are perfect. We enjoyed sunbathing, fishing and kayaking. The bottom of the lake is sandy and resembles a beach with crystalline water, better than a swimming pool! In summary, we would love to go back to this house; it exceeded our expectations.

Home on Lake Charlevoix

Very satisfied with our stay, the property and condition. Loved the location, even met one of the neighbors who was really nice and informative. Clean property but did not like all the gnats-mad it difficult to eat and drink. I would recommend the house otherwise and would return myself if that was cleared up.

This was the easiest and most pleasant rental experience ever. The setting of the house is magical and everything needed for an incredible week was at our finger tips. We especially loved how perfectly the house is located. Easy access to boat rentals and quiet water to waterski. The property was very clean and the grounds are very well-maintained!
