The Area:

Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.

Overall, a great property!! Everything was clean and in good condition. Only complaint is the HVAC system in the home, with the thermostat on the main level, you would only be comfortable on that level, basement was too warm, and upstairs was freezing. They did have a space heater in the upstairs to help. We would still stay at this property again, definitely not a deal breaker. Location was awesome and you could see the skybridge from the home. Lot's of space and the kids loved the air hockey. Hot tub was perfect!!

Gorgeous home at Boyne Mountain

Beautiful house with easy access to Boyne Mountain

The Alpine House is beautifully decorated and accommodates multiple families. The downstairs game room and bunk room is perfect for kids. We loved the new air hockey / ping pong table. The outdoor hot tub is also a favorite. The house has a large room for winter gear and has ski-in / ski-out accessibility to Boyne Mountain. This was our 4th year staying at the Alpine House, and we can't wait to come back!

Great experience

Place was great!Two things that should be addressed or perhaps fixed for future guests.1) Front door- the top doesn’t close flush, leaving a draft2) The beverage fridge door doesn’t close unless you lift the fridge slightly. Sometimes this goes unnoticed & the fridge tries to work overtime to keep up. It just needs an adjustment to make it fit properly in its space under the island.

Nice Cabin

My family and I enjoyed the cabin. Very clean, new, stocked with mostly everything we needed. We wised the roads were salted as we had trouble getting up the icy hill. The hot tub was not as hot as we anticipated but still good. Lastly the driveway was not salted and we could not find any salt on property. Overall the experience was nice, we had enough room for everyone. I would recommend this cabin to others

The house was wonderful and better than we had even imagined. It was relaxing and we had a wonderful vacation! I highly recommend renting bikes at Boyne mountain resort and riding into town (I think it is 12-13 miles round trip). It is a flat easy ride and even my 7 year old enjoyed it. We also rented kayaks from the nicest guy- Boyne river adventures. We paddled down river and it was the highlight of the trip. He took us to the drop off point and was at the take out point. Great family adventure and memories!The only disappointment was trying to get to the house. We were given instructions by the rental company to download an app and follow the GPS directions to the house. However, when we did, it took us to a completely different house in a random location. When I called the company the woman who answered said they never recommended using GPS to find the houses. She gave me directions over the phone and we finally found the house. I just didn’t understand why they wouldn’t have emailed written directions so we didn’t have to waste so much time trying to find the house. The woman was not apologetic at all and acted like it was our fault. Other than that, the house was great and our vacation was wonderful!

Beautiful property. We loved all aspects of the property. My personal favorite was that the fire pit was gas so it was easily accessible. Our property liason was very responsive and quickly resolved any questions/1 issue we had.

Beautiful home

We had a great time at the Alpine House with our entire family. The location was great even in the summer. Short drive to Deer Lake which was fantastic for the kids to play in the very shallow water & use the kayaks. The outdoor space was awesome with a natural gas grill and fire pit (no need for firewood or propane tank). The hot tub is huge! I was disappointed they provided such a small amount of shampoo and there was no conditioner. Even a shampoo/conditioner combo would have been a little better. I was happy with the response from maintenance when we had questions and overall would definitely recommend for a large group of people.

Beautiful property and location

My family of 7 adults and a toddler stayed here four nights in mid March. The property has been kept up well and we understand it will be getting some upgrades and new furniture in the spring of this year (2021). The property manager was easily accessible and prompt. When we went to use the blender one evening to make margaritas it wasn't working. She had a brand new one on the porch for us the next morning. It is close enough to a chair lift to be ski in/out. The hot tub is new, large and fantastic!

The Alpine House was great for our family.

This was an annual trip for our extended family. The adults slept on the first and second levels and the grandchildren slept downstairs in the bunk room. The Grandchildren loved having their own place to hangout. We all had our own space if needed and then plenty of room to be together on the main level. The house was spotless and well taken care of. We had a couple questions when we arrived and Renee took good care of us. We were able to do some hiking and even found some Petoskey stones. We went to Avalanche Bay a couple times and did some shopping and fed the ducks at the Boyne Resort just a few minutes away. We were especially glad that we had rented the Alpine house with so many amenities because the weather was not very good for outside activities since it rained a lot of the time. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice home for larger groups. Plenty of space on multiple levels allowing for some privacy when needed. Large gathering rooms on main and lower level floors as well as generous outdoor gathering places. Gas firepit was very nice and convenient. Big enough for the whole group. Would stay there again.

A wonderful home for a wonderful celebration!

We rented the Alpine House for the four days surrounding our son's wedding. We comfortably slept 14, with the groom's men taking over the lower level with bunk room, larger bathroom/showers, and TV room/game/kitchenette area. It was a perfect setting and so many memories were made in this home! We had one or two tiny questions/issues which were resolved immediately and effectively by Renee, the rental agency staff member assigned to us. The home rental was not inexpensive, but for our special occasion and the memories we made, was worth every penny. We wholeheartedly recommend this home. p.s. I am already missing my morning coffee on the screened-in porch.

2019 Annual Golf Trip - August

My group had a wonderful experience in the Alpine House. Clean, spacious, and with plenty of amenities to entertain everyone. It far exceeded expectations. Alpine House Dream House

We stayed in a beautiful four bedroom in the woods of Boyne Falls. The home had a hot tub and gas fire ring, which was one of our favorite things. Sitting at night listening to the woods at night, watching the fire was so relaxing. Every room was a pleasure, I even enjoyed doing laundry with such a spacious laundry room. This home is just about perfect. What isn't perfect about it? I don't know, I am going to have to think about it, for a while.

‘Pleasant’ Vacation

Loved the location and views but the address wouldn’t come up on our GPS so we had to call Renee 3 times to find the house. The gate code had not been given to us but Renee came through again! No complaints whatsoever - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alpine. Loved the screened in deck, the bunk room and basement for the kids, the gas fire pit and grill, etc. we had a few ants but understand that the house is surrounded by trees-(just needs some ant traps). All staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous property with ample space

This is a mammoth property with all the amenities you could hope for. We utilized it for a boys golf weekend and it did not disappoint. I would recommend this place to anyone and would rent again for future golf/ski weekends with friends and family.

The Alpine House—Best family Spring Break ever!

My husband and I were looking for a last-minute Spring Break getaway for our family (two boys, two of their friends, my mother-in-law and us). We saw the pictures, but could never have imagined how spectacular the house and setting are! The Alpine House was immaculately clean and well-appointed with very high end finishes and accessories. My husband and I loved the fireplace in our first floor bedroom; my mother in law had her own floor and bathroom; and the boys absolutely enjoyed the bunk room with two showers downstairs! Indeed, the four boys spent much of their time downstairs in their own living quarters, complete family room, kitchenette, pool table and dining area. The huge main floor great room was the perfect gathering place for the entire family to hang out after meals and to watch unlimited Netflix movies. I really enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen! The appliances, pots and pans, knives, and dinner wear (plates, glasses, flatware) were very high quality. The location of the house was also perfect—quiet, gated community, close to Boyne Mountain Resort and Boyne City, and a 20-30 minute drive to Petrosky and Charlevoix for day trips. We just can’t say enough wonderful things about this house! Our trip was made even more memorable by the super responsive property management team. Renee Gibbs and Terri Minor were so professional, helpful and informative. It was like having personal concierges at our service! Whatever we needed, day or night, they were just a text away!All in all, this was one of our most special and memorable family vacations! This was largely due to the amazing Alpine House and Renee and Terri’s excellent customer service. We are already planning our next family vacation at the Alpine House. Perfect Home for a Boyne Mountain Break

Great location, beautiful house. Plenty of room for 11 (5 kids and 6 adults). We were met by the management company upon arrival who offered us a tour of the house. Pictures are 100% accurate house is very well setup for large families or multiple families. Kitchen has everything you could ever need to cook and serve for an army! Gas fireplaces were great to relax by. Fire pit is a great touch and we spent hours outside enjoying the stars! Hot Tub was very nice. Downstairs living room couch is our favorite! Great setup for having adults and kids to all have their own space. Mud room was very well setup to keep snow out and everyone's things organized. We will be coming back for sure!

Alpine House - March 2019

One of the best rental houses in Boyne. With 3 families it was very comfortable and had plenty of room. The 7 kids enjoyed the bunkroom and each couple had a king bedroom to themselves. The location was great and right off the alpine lift so we could pop in to warm up, eat lunch or end our day. I'm not sure if the kids loved the hot tub or the huge couch more! No doubt we will put this one our list of houses to stay at again.

Thanksgiving

The Alpine House was the perfect getaway for our family. The property had everything we need for our Thanksgiving meal, and was convenient to everything at the resort. The views surrounding the house were amazing, and my daughter enjoyed playing in the snow. The fireplace and hot tub provided plenty of relaxation. We really could not have asked for a better experience. Beyond the house, the staff of Northern Michigan Escapes is second to none. We will most definitely utilize their service again.
