Welcome to The Beach House on Long Lake!

We're now accepting reservations for Summer 2024!

The Beach House is a beautiful lakefront home located on Long Lake, in Traverse City’s west side! This generous 5-bedroom home boasts 111’ of sandy frontage for relaxing and enjoying what Long Lake has to offer! Experience Northern Michigan with a private dock, 4 kayaks, SUP boards and a private hot tub.

Not to mention the sparkling blue water views from all 3 floors of this well designed home. Offering a spacious open-concept living areas, multiple private bedroom suites, 2 stone fireplaces, and best of all a gourmet island kitchen.

The main level features a guest room, full bathroom, kitchen and living room. The master suite and additional guest bedrooms are located on the second level. The lower level also features an additional guest bedroom and full bathroom, along with a living room and wet bar.

Our home is 25 miles to Crystal Mountain and 9 miles to downtown Traverse City. We're just a short drive to Northern Michigan's Best Vineyards. This home is truly the best of both worlds, close to town yet remote and quiet.

A perfect spot for our family

There were 10 of us, 5 children ages 8-15. There was plenty of room, a great waterfront, paddle boats and kayaksThe views were lovely, looking out at the lake, even on a rainy day, from the kitchen sink was calming and serene.Everything was ready for us, lots of towels and 2 sets of washers/dryers.

Long Lake House

The property is gorgeous. The host was very helpful. The house is located very close to the Long Lake Inn which serves great food and watched the NFL Draft in Detroit on their huge tv on the main floor with a couch that was large enough for our group, the sweeping views made our stay enjoyable and the kitchen had every convenience. Then we scheduled a Wine Ride to the Mission Point Peninsula with Grand Traverse Tours and they also stopped at the Lighthouse. We visited 3 wineries and I wish we stopped at a pizza place on our return because all pizza is by pickup not delivery. The family wanted to stay longer and are looking at ways to come back in the future. The neighbors kept to themselves. It was a lovely quiet weekend for all concerned. Very relaxing.

Great family vacation home

The house was fantastic, just excellent for the furnishings, bedrooms and beds, all the supplies, multiple kayaks and paddleboards, and fabulous view. The house was immaculate (thanks Delaney!) and Autumn was so easy and responsive to work with. We loved it!

A great family vacation home!!

The pictures and description of this home couldn't have been more on target. Clean, great layout out and well located to Fresh Coast Market and Moomer's ice cream shop!The dock was perfect for tying up our rental pontoon and the kayaks and paddle board were used by all with great enjoyment.And the management from Northern Michigan Escapes did a great job meeting us at the home and explaining all the amenities.

Perfect

House was clean and well-equipped. Lots of room to spread out. The beach was perfect for young kids as the water is quite shallow.

Great home and property

The home is well maintained and has 2 master suites which was perfect for our multiple family group. Everyone had their own space but great outdoor area to hang together.

Beautiful spacious house

what you see is exactly what you get. Truly a great house, plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. Good communication with host. couldn't find hot pads, they brought some over. very clean house. railing going from deck to stairs needs to be tightened- felt wobbly. Hot tub was great!

Home was clean. Property manager pleasant. Plenty of towels, clean bed. A couple extra boxes of tissues would have been great. Home is well insulated. We would stay there again

ENJOYED OUR STAY, VERY RELAXING. ONE ISSUE, THE DOWNSPOUT IN FRONT NEXT TO THE GARAGE FLOODED THE DRIVEWAY DURING A HEAVY RAIN. THE WELCOME LETTER NEEDS TO BE UPDATED REGARDING TOWELS, TOILETRIES, PROPANE TANK, ETC.

Long Lake Beach House

Great beach home located on Long Lake. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Some of the furnishings did not match what was listed on the website (king vs queen beds), but management is updating the furniture. The new sectional in the basement was very comfortable and the new dining table had ample seating for 10 guests.When we arrived the spa tub needed maintenance and cleaning. Once brought to the management company’s attention they worked diligently to clean the spa and correct the operational issues. While the jets did not work during our stay, we were still able to use the spa. The management company was very responsive, one night staying until 8pm to get the spa running.It was a beautiful home and I can’t say enough good things about the management company. Would definitely rent again.
