Front Desk Associate

While serving in this role, your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet clients and assist guests during the check in and out processes; assuring they are attended to within a timely and professional fashion
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office and lobby area and when necessary, assist with laundry duties
  • Process reservation payments from guests
  • Provide guests with information concerning hotel policies, amenities and services
  • Serve as an industry professional with punctual, friendly, and responsible customer service
  • Provide written and verbal correspondence to upcoming and in-house guests in-person, via email and over the phone
  • Create, modify and cancel reservations on computerized reservation system
  • Provide consistent documentation and communication to Manager(s)

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Ideal Experience:1 year of front desk experience

Essential Functions

 

  • Candidate must be able to work collaboratively and efficiently within the team as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Candidate must be able to multitask with accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Candidate must possess strong time management skills and have a high attention to detail
  • Candidates must communicate effectively with teammates, guests and associates

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift up to 10 pounds with or without assistance, stretch/reach, hear, see, have functional hand/finger dexterity and navigate stairs.

Schedule

  • Candidate must be available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department including weekends, holidays, possible evenings, in addition to weekdays
  • Candidate will be expected to perform the duties required by the role and devote all reasonable efforts to ensure the role is adequately performed.
